We discuss the propagation of conormal singularities of solutions of  $P(y,D) u= f(y,u),$  $y \in \mathbb{R}^n,$ $n\geq 3,$ where $P(y,D)$ is a second order strictly hyperbolic operator and $f\in C^\infty.$
