Biography
Born: 11.12.1958, Kharkov, USSR Married 1979, 2 children: Alexei Shcherbina (1980), Tatiana Shcherbina (1986) 1976-1981 I studied in Kharkov State University department of mathematics, 1981-1983 Graduate Studies, Institute for Low Temperature Physics, Kharkiv. I get my PhD (Candidate of sciences) in 1986 at Institute for Low Temperature Physics. Disserta- tion : "Some asymptotical problems of the statistical physics". I obtained my habilitation in 1997, at Institute for Low Temperature Physics Disser- tation: "Mean eld problems of statistical mechanics and random matrix theory". From 1983 till now I am working at the Institute for Low Temperature Physics first like junior research fellow, then senior research fellow, then leading research fellow. Now I am head of the Department of Mathematical Physics. Last 10 years I am also Professor of Mathematics in Karazin National University of Kharkov. Awards: 2003 Invited speaker of European Congress of Mathematics in Stockholm 2009 Prise named by Ostrogradskiy of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine 2012 Elected as a member of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine 2018 Invited speaker of International Congress of Mathematics in Rio de Janeiro 2018 State Prise of Ukraine in the Field of Science and Technique 2020 Medal of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine "For Professional Acheve- ments"
